Terms of use

These terms describe use of Scam Case Builder, an online information and case-organization service operated by Tech Tools Direct, LLC, Texas, USA. For service or account questions, contact support@techtoolsdirect.com.

Who the service is for

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement under the laws that apply to you. The initial service is aimed primarily at adults in the United States. Availability and information coverage can differ outside the United States; a page being reachable does not establish that every feature is available in your location.

Use the service only where you may lawfully do so. If you submit information about another person or organization, you are responsible for having permission or another lawful basis to use it.

What Scam Case Builder provides

Scam Case Builder presents information about possible warning signs and helps you organize your own records. Coverage varies by identifier, source availability, enabled features, and the time of the check. Read About Scam Case Builder and service limits before relying on a feature.

Results, concern categories, source references and community counts are information for review. They do not establish that a person or business committed fraud, identify a caller or wallet owner, guarantee safety, or promise that money can be recovered.

Scam Case Builder does not provide professional legal, financial, investment, or emergency advice. It does not automatically file your case with police, a bank, a regulator or another authority. You are responsible for deciding what to do with information and whether to seek qualified help.

Your account

Keep your account credentials private and use an email account you control. Use a strong, unique password. Contact support if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.

Optional profile fields do not verify your identity or change access to free Case Builder. Optional email security depends on access to your email; it does not guarantee protection against account compromise.

Signing out ends the session in that browser. It does not delete saved data or promise to sign out every device.

Information and files you submit

You remain responsible for the accuracy and permitted use of what you submit. Do not upload material you are not allowed to hold or share, or include unnecessary sensitive information. Do not submit passwords, security codes, recovery phrases, payment-card details or secret access tokens.

You allow Scam Case Builder and its service providers to process the information you submit as needed to provide the requested functions and operate, protect and recover the service, as explained in the Privacy notice. This permission is for service operations; it does not transfer ownership of your files to Scam Case Builder.

Follow the file types, size limits and preparation instructions shown in the service. Manual file checks may involve waiting and may fail or refuse a file. A check does not certify that a file is harmless or that a transaction or statement in it is genuine.

Keep your original evidence and independent copies of important records. A saved case or downloaded report is not a guaranteed permanent archive or a substitute for professional evidence-preservation advice.

Acceptable use

Do not use Scam Case Builder to harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, or unlawfully investigate people. Do not present an uncertain result as a verified accusation.

Do not try to access another account, bypass limits or authorization, damage the service, introduce malicious material, or extract restricted source information. Normal file submission must follow the supported workflow and its safety instructions.

Do not claim that Scam Case Builder, a referenced provider, or an authority has endorsed your conclusions merely because a name, source link, or result appears in a report.

Availability and outside information

Features, sources, limits and availability can change. Outside providers may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. Scam Case Builder does not promise continuous availability, complete coverage, error-free results, a fixed support response time, or recovery of lost funds.

Use the service with reasonable care and check important information independently. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Links to outside sites are provided for reference. Those sites, payment services and information providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

Free access and contributions

A contribution is optional and does not buy a safer assessment, priority treatment, or access to otherwise free features. Contributions are not currently open.

If contributions become available, payment details will be shown in Stripe-hosted checkout. Review those details before paying and contact support about payment questions. This page does not make a claim about charitable or tax-deductible status.

Requests and service restrictions

Use My Account to request account-data assistance or deletion. Requests need manual review and, where applicable, fresh identity confirmation. A submitted request or review marker does not mean deletion is complete.

We may need to restrict access to investigate misuse, address a security or operational problem, or carry out an account request. Where appropriate, contact support for information about the restriction. Some deletion steps cannot be reversed.

Deletion and retention boundaries are described in the Privacy notice. Records held by outside providers and copies you downloaded are not automatically deleted by a Scam Case Builder request.
