About Scam Case Builder and service limits
Scam Case Builder helps you check warning signs and organize information when something online seems suspicious. It is a starting point for your own review, not a guarantee that a person, business, website, or payment is safe.
What you can do
Check a domain, website address, email address, phone number, or supported cryptocurrency wallet. Results may include reviewed reports, outside-provider information, and explanations of the available coverage.
Create an account to save inquiries, organize groups and private notes, and use the free Case Builder to organize information. Available PDF and CSV reports use saved information; downloading a report does not run a fresh check.
Read the crypto scam and phishing guides for plain-language examples and safer steps.
Understand a result
No information found does not mean safe. A check can miss a new scam, use older information, or have unavailable sources. Read the explanation, source information, time of the check, and any coverage notices.
A concern label is not a court finding or proof of a crime. A phone number can be spoofed or reassigned. A domain or wallet may have legitimate and harmful uses. Do not use a result alone to accuse someone or decide whether to send money.
Saved results describe what was recorded at that time. Current community activity, when shown, is separate context; it is not a risk score or proof of wrongdoing.
Files and Case Builder
File checks require a manual operator step in this MVP. They are not an instant or continuously running service. Follow the file types and size limits shown in the upload screen. A file may stay waiting until the operator runs the checks, or may be refused or unavailable.
A completed file check does not prove that the file is safe in every setting or that its contents are true. Spreadsheet previews help you review and confirm rows; they do not verify transactions or ownership.
Cases and files are not automatically sent to law enforcement, banks, or other authorities. A report you download is a tool for your own review; you decide whether and where to share it.
Accounts and privacy
Connections to Scam Case Builder use HTTPS encryption. Our Supabase database and file-storage provider documents encryption while data is stored and while it travels over the network. Encryption is one layer of protection; authorized service operations can still process information and uploaded files. Read the Privacy notice for the boundaries.
Profile fields are optional and do not determine access to free Case Builder. A phone number in your profile is a contact detail, not verified ownership or SMS security.
Optional extra email security uses email codes. It is not advertised as an independent second authentication factor. Use a strong, unique password and protect the email account used to sign in.
My Account includes private data downloads and requests for account-data help or deletion. Requests are reviewed manually. Submitting a request does not immediately delete an account or send an automatic follow-up email.
Free access and contributions
The MVP provides free features to eligible registered users. A contribution is optional and does not improve a risk result, buy priority, or unlock free features.
Contributions are not open in the current release. When they become available, the site will direct you to Stripe-hosted checkout. Read the payment details there before you pay. Subscription services and Scam Case Builder receipt storage are not part of this MVP.
When you need help
Scam Case Builder is operated by Tech Tools Direct, LLC, Texas, USA. The initial service is aimed primarily at adults in the United States. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement under the laws that apply to you. Availability and information coverage can differ outside the United States; a page being reachable does not establish that every feature is available in your location.
Contact support@techtoolsdirect.com for site help, corrections, or account-data requests. Include the page or request reference and a short explanation. Do not send passwords, security codes, wallet recovery words, identity documents, or private evidence by ordinary email.
Support is manually handled. No 24-hour coverage or fixed response time is promised. Scam Case Builder is not an emergency service, a bank, a law-enforcement agency, or a fund-recovery service.
If money may be at risk, contact your bank or payment provider promptly through contact details you independently trust. The scam guides include official reporting and further-help links.
